Description

Pokemon Emerald Essence is a GBA ROM hack created by GCass based on the English version of Pokemon Emerald. And you can download it right now. The most recent update was made on October 26, 2022.

This ROM hack aims to maintain the core gameplay elements of the original game while enabling the capture of every Pokemon that was intended to be captured in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. There is no need to consult a README file to determine where each Pokemon is because they are all located where they usually are. This hack is not for you if you want to catch every single one of the 386 Pokemon. This hack IS for you if you want to complete Emerald with the ability to catch every Pokemon present, regardless of version exclusivity or trading requirements!

Features

The modifications fall into two categories: those that advance the Hoenn Dex's completion and those that improve or modernise quality of life.

• 1. Hoenn Dex-enabling changes that include special Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald items everywhere. Zangoose, for instance, may be found on Route 114 in Ruby. Route 114 in Sapphire/Emerald contains Seviper. Zangoose and Seviper may be found on Route 114 in Emerald Essence. This holds true throughout the entire game.
• 2. Pokemon that typically evolve through trade do so at level 37.

• Graveler, Machoke, and Kadabra are a few examples.
• 3. Desert Underpass has the starters you didn't select. The two starter Pokemon you caught will be contained in two Pokeballs in Desert Underpass.
• 4. You will receive a reward from an NPC in the Battle Frontier Pokemon Center for finishing the Hoenn Dex. Jirachi will be your reward if you successfully complete the Hoenn Dex and obtain your diploma from Lilycove City.
• 5. You can now use DeepSeaScale, DeepSeaTooth, and Dragon Scale to evolve Pokemon.
• As a result, Seadra will be able to transform into Kingdra, Clamperl into Huntail, and Clamperl into Gorebyss.
• 6. You can obtain the Mystic Ticket, Aurora Ticket, Eon Ticket, and Old Sea Map from an NPC in the Battle Frontier Pokemon Center.
