Story
Everything is going well; you and your mother, a well-known scientist in the area, are looking forward to a trip to Sinnoh next month. As you are eating lunch and talking about the trip, a group of mercenaries suddenly bursts into your home and kidnaps your mother. She is the only thing you have left, and she has trusted you to protect her from this enigmatic band of evil thugs, along with your childhood best friend Akamu, a starter Pokémon your mother received from a coworker in Hoenn.
