Story
TheThe sister regions of Koren & Kaioh were in chaos, darkness, and stillness thousands of years ago. In their confusion, the Pokémon began to battle among themselves without even knowing why they were doing it. Regigigas was puzzled and guarded the Koren region, while Giratina guarded the Kaioh region. These were engaged in a conflict that appeared to go on forever and that would soon result in the regions' devastation.
Many of the strongest pokemon in the world came to the area to try to end the conflict, but they were unable to offer much assistance.
Then Arceus, who is said to have been born before the cosmos was created, suddenly emerged, separating the two rivals and hiding them in various parts of the sister regions to bring about harmony. Arceus, who was already exhausted, dispatched Mew to protect the area in order to keep the peace before dozing off for all of eternity.
Part 2:
Captain Blue went missing while cruising the calm southern waters around the year 1512. Two months later, when everything appeared to be gone, he found the fabled sister regions.
Necro, Captain Blue's travelling companion, figured out how to decipher the symbols found in a cave and learned a lot about that historic battle. Inspired by his discoveries, Necro founded Team Shadow to try and capture the legendary pokémons they fought in that war to conquer the world.
