Pokemon trainer
- The list of trainers by region has been changed. All of these are listed below along with their types and levels. - Critical trainers have a full roster including species, levels, items, moves and characters, as well as a growing number of wild pokemon.
- Regional wild Pokémon have been changed. - The level displayed in an area is the minimum and maximum level that can be found in that area.
- Many Pokémon can only be found in certain levels. Only a few have an assortment.
- The level of the fishing rod encounter is fixed. Old Staff
- Lv. 10, Good Staff
- Lv. 25 and Super Wand is Lv. 50.
- Old staff and good staff can be obtained in the same place as before. Super Rods can be obtained from Snowpoint City.
- Honey trees now meet and react immediately after using honey.
- Pokémon have a brilliant ratio of 1/512 unless you choose the normal speed patch. The classic version of the
Renegade Platinum. Use this if you don't want to touch the basic stats and types of your Pokemon. This is the full version of Renegade Platinum. Use this if you want to play around with all the changes including base stats and Pokemon types.
Radiance speed increase
By default, Renegade Platinum has a new speed of 1/512. That said, glowing Pokémon are still very rare, but you're much more likely to encounter them while playing. This brightness doesn't affect Poké Radar's ability to create shimmering grasses, but otherwise affects all other ways of encountering Pokémon (egg, gift, wild, etc.).
Major changes:
The patch system for hacking has changed.
* There are two basic patches to replace Platinum with Renegade Platinum. One for ROM 3541 and one for ROM 4997. Be sure to use the one that fits your ROM.
* Then on top of Renegade Platinum you can apply additional fixes that make the game faster, including classic mode, shiny main streak, and acceleration patches. Checksum checking must be turned off when applying one or more of these additional fixes using Delta Lite Patcher. Otherwise it will fail with error XD3_INVALID_INPUT. For more information on how to apply these additional fixes, see the README in the folder containing the fixes.
*Standard Renegade Platinum (obtained after initial patch) uses versions previously known as Complete and Shiny Boosted versions. That said, there are all Pokémon changes, and the default gloss is 1/512.
New features:
- You can now talk to Steven in Oreburg to fight after winning the Pokemon League.
- Hidden Force Cashier NPC has been deployed to Juvey Life Trainer School. It can tell you the type of potential power of your Pokémon (but unfortunately not the power).
- Obedience check for Pokémon sold in battle is disabled. This means that all Pokémon, including Pokémon that bid for the game, must always listen to you. The relevant dialogue has been modified to reflect this.
- Pokémon meeting points are now correctly displayed within Pokédex. (Many thanks to Mikelan98!)
Pokemon changes (both versions):
- Spill now evolves into Sileo at level 24.
- Sileo evolves into Wallane at level 40. - Aaron evolves into Lyron at level 24.
- Rayron evolves into Agron at level 40. - Sileo's movement level has been adjusted.
- Ballet's movement level has been adjusted.
- Layron's movement level has been adjusted.
- Adjusted Agron's movement level.
- Glaly can now learn Rock Tomb with TM.
- Zigzagoon, Linoone, Gligar, and Gliscor can now learn Rock Climb on the HM (accessible to moves in Generation V and higher).
- The leveling behavior of Odyssey, Gloom, and Weilplum has been changed, and Odyssey and Gloom now learn sludge by level.
