The adventure of the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond game will take place in the familiar Sinnoh land. Rich in nature and with the majestic Mount Coronet at its centre, Sinnoh is a land filled with legends handed down through the ages. You'll choose Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup as your first partner Pokémon, then begin your journey to becoming a Pokémon League champion. Along the way, you'll meet the mysterious organization Team Galactic and possibly encounter the legendary Pokémon Dialga.

The Pokémon Diamond Version of the game has been powered up and is now called Grand Underground. Here you can unearth valuable Pokémon fossils and treasures, create your own secret base, and catch Pokémon in places called Pokémon Hideaways. When you're not exploring the Grand Underground, join the Super Concours Show! Super Contest Shows are popular events in the Sinnoh region, each organized by four performers and their partner Pokémon, who dance together and show off their performing skills. You can also go on an adventure in the Grand Underground or host a Super Contest Show with other players via local * or online ** communication from your Nintendo Switch console!
Walk with your Pokémon, change your style and customize Poké Balls™
Choose a Pokémon you befriend on the journey to walk behind you in the game. In the relaxing area of Amity Square, you can walk with up to 6 Pokémon! Depending on the Pokémon, you'll see different gestures or walks, and when you talk to your Pokémon, it will respond. You can also add your own personal style! Choose from a variety of outfits and coordinate the outfits up and down. Some are based on Pokemon designs and others change your hairstyle. You can even use Capsule Decorations to add stickers to customize the effects that appear when your Pokémon exits a Poke Ball!
